In 2021, I had the privilege of collaborating with exceptionally skilled craftsmen and women from the historic region of central Iran, specifically Isfahan, renowned as the birthplace of woodblock printing. Together, we embarked on a creative journey to produce pieces that seamlessly blend traditional motifs and patterns with a fresh and contemporary aesthetic. This collaboration aimed to revitalize their cherished craft, breathing new life into it and introducing an elevated and refined taste to their timeless art form.
